About Me

I’m proud to represent Ward 2 since my first election to the Warwick City Council in 2016.  Ward 2 includes the Norwood, Pilgrim, and Lakewood neighborhoods.

Community is very important to me.  Warwick has been my home since I was three years old, and I grew up going to public schools here from K-12:  Norwood Elementary, Aldrich JHS, and Pilgrim HS.  I worked for 8 years at local business Cosmic Pizza up until I went to law school, and have been active in the Norwood Neighborhood Association (NNA) since it was founded in 2002. I also serve as the NNA Facebook Admin and as a member of the Crime Watch and Leadership Committees.

Neighborhood Associations are a wonderful resource for a community.  One of my greatest accomplishments is helping the Pilgrim Neighborhood Association get started in 2017.  I continued this work into the summer of 2018, when I helped some hard working community members form a new Lakewood Neighborhood Association.  You can count on me to be a tireless advocate for our community, working to address your concerns and making our neighborhoods even better places to live.

Norwood, Pilgrim, and Lakewood need a City Councilor with the skills and experience to solve problems and accomplish our goals. After graduating from RIC and becoming certified as a high school history teacher, I went to law school where I graduated in the top ten of my class. There, I worked as a Research Assistant for Professor Walker, Assistant Editor of the Law Review, and externed for Rhode Island Supreme Court Justice Indeglia.  I also worked for a firm whose partners represented five towns in Rhode Island, where I gained perspective about the problems that cities and towns often face. More recently, I’ve embarked on my own business venture and have begun managing my own law office in Warwick.

I understand the responsibility that comes with serving on the City Council and the importance of a City Councilor who is responsive and accountable to their constituents.  That’s why I sincerely invite you to reach out to me anytime with your questions or concerns.  I look forward to conversations about how we can work together to improve our neighborhood!
